How much does a guided fishing trip cost in Minnesota?
At Noonan Outdoors, our half-day (4-hour) guided fishing trips are $400, and full-day (6-hour) trips are $600. These rates include rods, reels, bait, lures, and fish cleaning.
What is included in my trip?
Your trip includes a fully guided fishing experience with Captain Mark, all fishing gear, bait, lures, and catch cleaning. Complimentary water and soda are provided. BYOB is allowed (no hard liquor or glass bottles).
What do I need to bring for my trip?
Please bring a valid Minnesota fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). You’re welcome to bring snacks and additional drinks.
Where will we be fishing?
Captain Mark will guide you within 20 miles of Detroit Lakes or Lake of the Woods, depending on your preferred fishing spot and target species.
What fish can we catch on this trip?
Depending on the season and location, you can catch Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Sturgeon, and Rainbow Trout (Steelhead).
When is the best time to book a fishing trip?
Our guided trips run seasonally from May 15 to September 1. Walleye fishing is best in early summer, while Pike and Sturgeon action heats up later in the season.
Are fishing licenses included in the trip price?
No, anglers must purchase a Minnesota fishing license before the trip. You can buy one online through the Minnesota DNR website or at local bait shops.
Can I bring my kids on the trip?
Yes! We welcome families and kids of all ages. Children must wear life vests while onboard. Let us know in advance if you need child-sized vests.
Do you offer private fishing charters?
Yes, all of our trips are private, meaning your group will have the boat to yourselves for a personalized experience.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least a 3-day notice for cancellations. Cancellations within 72 hours of the trip may be subject to a fee.
